Former Premier League winger Jordon Ibe has pleaded not guilty to assaulting a woman in London. The 30-year-old, who played for AFC Bournemouth and Liverpool, appeared at Croydon magistrates court where he denied causing actual bodily harm to the alleged victim in Lambeth on December 14.

The charges relate to an incident that led to Ibe's arrest at Luton Airport on January 30. The winger, from Chislehurst, southeast London, was granted bail and will stand trial on July 14. Ibe's career has taken him from the Premier League to playing in Bulgaria's First League with Lokomotiv Sofia.

Ibe's professional journey includes 92 appearances for Bournemouth between 2016 and 2020, following a spell at Liverpool where he made 58 appearances across all competitions. The former England under-21 international now faces potential legal consequences that could impact his playing career as he continues to compete in Bulgaria.
