Premier League star Jack Grealish has been fined £1,000 after his £210,000 Lamborghini ran a red light in Liverpool. The Everton midfielder, currently on loan from Manchester City, was prosecuted by Merseyside Police for the incident that occurred on September 12 last year.

The 30-year-old England international was caught on camera driving through a red light 1.4 seconds after it changed while traveling through Liverpool city center. Magistrates in Liverpool handed Grealish six penalty points and ordered him to pay a total of £1,044 in fines and costs. The court heard that police sent letters to properties in Manchester and Cheshire attempting to identify the driver.

Grealish, who became the most expensive British player ever when he joined Manchester City for £100 million in 2021, was ultimately convicted of failing to provide driver information rather than the red light offense itself. The charge of running the red light was withdrawn by police. This legal trouble comes as the 30-year-old revealed his 2025/26 season with Everton has been ended by injury.
