Hull City's Lucas Gourna-Douath has been involved in a car crash near the club's training ground, following a similar incident involving team-mate Sorba Thomas. Humberside Police said emergency services were called at 08:30 GMT.
In September, Gourna-Douath's team-mate Sorba Thomas was involved in a crash on the same road. Paul Nickerson, who lives on the road from where the incident took place, said: "I arrived just after it turned over because I heard the noise." He added: "If it had happened a minute before, my wife was walking down the road with our kids taking them to school. So, it's really worrying."
Tracey Evans, who has lived on the road for 19 years, said she has been asking for the speed limit to be reduced for about 10 years. She said: "At that time, children are coming, going to school, the parents are coming back." She added measures needed to be put in place "to avoid something happening in the future".
