Hearts Head Coach Eva Olid To Depart After Five Successful Seasons

Eva Olid will leave Scottish Women's Premier League leaders Hearts at the end of the season by mutual agreement, the club confirmed. The Spaniard, who signed a new deal until the summer of 2026 in April last year but has not taken up the option for a further year, will depart after guiding the Edinburgh side to their first domestic cup final in 2024 and securing a first league win over Glasgow City on Sunday to claim the top spot. Olid, who replaced Andy Kirk in 2021, beat Glasgow City for the first time to move Hearts to the top of the table with five matches remaining, one point ahead of Rangers. She told her players after the win she 'couldn't leave the club without beating City' having already beaten Celtic, Rangers and Hibs. Olid also guided the club to back-to-back fourth-place finishes before a drop to fifth last term as Hibs finished first.

More details will follow.
