Hearts have confirmed four departures from Tynecastle this summer, but Cammy Devlin and Craig Gordon are not among them. Beni Baningime, Frankie Kent, Lewis Neilson, and Alan Forrest all leave as out-of-contract players. The decision to retain Devlin and Gordon offers some stability as the club rebuilds after losing captain Lawrence Shankland to Rangers earlier this week.

Josh McPake and Tom Renaud have already been recruited for next season. Baningime, 27, moved from Everton in 2021 and made 127 appearances, starting 20 league games this term. Kent, 30, joined from Colchester United in 2023 and played 95 games with four goals. Forrest, 29, arrived at the same time and scored 14 goals in 147 outings.

Neilson, 23, spent the season on loan at Falkirk after joining from Dundee United in 2022. Devlin remains involved with Australia's World Cup training camp in Florida, while Gordon has joined the Scotland squad despite featuring only three times for Hearts this season. The departures leave the Premiership runners-up facing a significant squad overhaul.
