Noel Mooney, chief executive of the Football Association of Wales, has renewed calls for Gianni Infantino to step down as Fifa president.
The pressure stems from the controversial Fifa Forward Enterprise (FFE) proposal, which emerged in July and would see Fifa sell stakes in its competitions to private investors. Infantino, who has led world football's governing body since 2016, apologised to the Fifa Council earlier this month over the "communication and consultation" regarding the FFE scheme.
Uefa has demanded that Fifa release key documents and answer questions about its governance and decision-making by a 2 November deadline.
Speaking to BBC Wales, Mooney described the FFE project as "a classic example of poor governance, poor guardrails, poor guardianship of the game." He added that while Uefa has requested a review of the FFE documents, the issue extends beyond the Fifa president to the entire system. "We would call for a change in the governance of football… not to have one person with as much power, for example, as the president of Fifa. It's crazy."
