Jordan Henderson has urged England players to embrace Florida's sweltering conditions to prepare for the World Cup heat. Most of the squad arrived in the US, with five players including Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka joining later this week. Thomas Tuchel's team is training in West Palm Beach, where temperatures reached 32C during their first session.

Studies indicate nearly 25% of World Cup games are played in temperatures exceeding 26C. Henderson emphasized building capacity in these conditions: "You just build your capacity to these conditions." England boss Tuchel previously advised players to holiday in the US after the domestic season to adapt to heat and time zone changes.

Marcus Rashford was among those who took post-season breaks in the US. England begins Group L play against Croatia on June 17 in Dallas, faces Ghana on June 23 in Massachusetts, and concludes group play against Panama on June 27 in New Jersey. Mainoo noted the squad is "working really hard" to acclimatize quickly to the challenging conditions.
