Celtic need five or six wins from seven for Scottish title - McGregor

Celtic captain Callum McGregor insists his side remain in the Scottish Premiership title race but admits they require at least five or six victories from their final seven fixtures to have a realistic chance. McGregor acknowledged the top five teams are now highly competitive, stating 'there's points to play for there' as Celtic, 17 points worse off than this time last season, face a three-way title race largely of their own making. The players, McGregor stressed, must show 'calm heads' after a recent loss that angered travelling fans, focusing on returning from the international break to train well and attack the remaining games.

Celtic's next challenge is a trip to face Dundee on Sunday, 5 April.
