Manchester United winger Celin Bizet Donnum is navigating the challenge of pregnancy while maintaining her professional football career. The 24-year-old Norway international announced in December that she and husband Aron Bizet Donnum, also a professional footballer, are expecting their first child in 2026.

Donnum spoke openly about the difficult decision to start a family during her playing prime. "It was a hard thing to actually get pregnant and not be in the team," she told BBC's Women's Football Weekly podcast. "Missing out the whole season - it's very scary. But for me, it was even more scary to not have the baby in my career."

Manchester United has provided comprehensive support including personalized nutrition plans, physiotherapy, and pelvic floor specialist care. Donnum praised the club's approach, noting she's been given freedom to spend time with her husband in Toulouse. She's now counting down to returning to the pitch, saying "I am so excited to come back" while acknowledging the sacrifice of missing a season.
