Sinclair Armstrong has departed Bristol City to join Turkish Super Lig side Goztepe for an undisclosed fee. The 22-year-old forward leaves the Championship club after joining from Queens Park Rangers in summer 2024.

Armstrong made 83 appearances for the Robins, scoring seven goals including 45 last season. The Republic of Ireland international, who made one senior international appearance in 2024, has signed a four-year contract with a 12-month extension option at Gursel Aksel Stadium.

The transfer connects two clubs under Sport Republic ownership, which also holds an 80% stake in Southampton. Goztepe finished sixth in the Turkish top flight last season, narrowly missing European qualification. Bristol City sporting director James Ellis wished Armstrong well on his next career stage.
