Scotland international goalkeeper Angus Gunn has signed with the San Jose Earthquakes, joining the Major League Soccer club after his release from Nottingham Forest. The 30-year-old, who has earned 25 caps for Scotland, has inked a deal running through the end of the 2030 MLS season.

The Earthquakes are currently second in the Western Conference, level on points with Vancouver Whitecaps but having played an extra game. They also hold third place in the overall league standings. Gunn arrives with the stated ambition of contributing to a title challenge.

"It feels incredible to join the Earthquakes," Gunn told the club's website. "Coming off the World Cup, which was an unbelievable experience, I'm just really excited and grateful for the opportunity to come to San Jose and show the best version of myself. We're in a really good position for the play-offs, so hopefully we can focus on that with the right mentality."
