Former QPR midfielder Akos Buzsaky has confirmed he is safe after being reported missing in Hungary. The 44-year-old posted on Facebook on Friday to reassure fans, following police reports that he had been missing for over a week.

In his message, Buzsaky explained that recent months had brought serious personal challenges, leading him to step away from daily routines. He acknowledged the concern, noting that his mother had contacted authorities after a misunderstanding, and he thanked everyone for their support.

Buzsaky, who spent five seasons at Loftus Road after joining QPR on loan in 2007, also played for Plymouth, Portsmouth, and Barnsley during his time in England. He scored 33 goals in 243 appearances in the UK.

The former Hungary international expressed gratitude for the outpouring of concern, saying, "Thank you very much for all the concern and thoughts you have shown me. I wish everyone a nice day, and it felt really good to receive so much love."
