Harry Kane and Mohamed Salah joined the elite 50-goal club in the Champions League last night. The Bayern Munich striker netted twice against Atalanta, while Salah's strike completed Liverpool's aggregate victory over Galatasarawa. Both former Premier League rivals reached the significant milestone despite playing for different clubs, with Kane's double helping secure a 4-1 second-leg win.

The pair still have some work to catch the all-time greats. Cristiano Ronaldo leads the record books with an astonishing 140 goals, while Lionel Messi follows with 129. Robert Lewandowski sits third on 109 goals, though Kane and Salah have entered the top 10. Their achievements place them among Europe's elite competition most lethal finishers.

Kane reached 50 goals in just 66 appearances, tying him with Messi for third-fastest to the milestone. Salah required 97 games to reach the mark, placing him joint-ninth with Raul. However, Erling Haaland holds the record as the fastest, needing only 49 appearances to score 50 goals in the Champions League.
