Harry Kane became the first English player to reach 50 Champions League goals with his brace in Bayern Munich's 4-1 victory over Atalanta. The England international scored from the penalty spot in the first half at Allianz Arena before adding a brilliant second-half goal to mark his 50th in Europe's top-tier competition.

Kane's stellar performance helped Bayern complete a 10-2 aggregate rout of Atalanta and reach their 15th consecutive Champions League quarterfinal. Since joining Bayern Munich from Tottenham Hotspur in 2023, Kane has scored 28 goals in 34 UCL appearances. He has now scored in his last four Champions League round-of-16 games for Bayern, totaling seven goals in those matches.

The victory sets up a quarterfinal clash against Real Madrid, a team Bayern have failed to beat in their last nine meetings. The first leg will take place at the Santiago Bernabeu on April 7, where Kane will look to add to his historic tally against one of Europe's most successful clubs.
