Kylian Mbappé has signed with sportswear brand On after leaving Nike, ending a childhood sponsorship with the American sportswear giant. The Swiss brand, founded in 2010 as a running shoe company, added tennis legend Roger Federer as a co-owner in 2019 and is now entering the football market. On has appointed Thierry Henry as director of football and will work with Mbappé as a global ambassador who will collaborate directly with product teams.

Mbappé said he joined On to build something new and shape football's future through innovation. On's founder David Allemann stated the brand aims to challenge norms with true innovation and contemporary design. Henry emphasized listening to players to create meaningful additions to the game.

Sydney Schertenleib, working with On since 2025, noted the brand's unique approach to performance and design. Mbappé shared a personal reflection on dreaming of football beyond his career, echoing On's 'Dream On' slogan. His move follows Lamine Yamal, who also left Nike to sign with Adidas.

Mbappé remains a Ballon d'Or 2026 nominee alongside Harry Kane.
