Fort Point Capital portfolio company NRG Controls has acquired Integrated Systems (ISI) , an Atlanta-based building automation integrator with over 30 years of experience in HVAC control systems. The acquisition gives NRG Controls a strategic hub in the Southeastern US and expands its service offerings. ISI specializes in DDC control systems for hospitals, laboratories, warehouses, and educational facilities.
Through the deal, ISI will gain access to NRG’s security, fire and life safety, and lighting services, along with enhanced engineering support and enterprise-level systems, while maintaining local decision-making. Fort Point Capital, which targets fragmented business services sectors, is currently investing from its FPC Small Cap Fund III. Crescent Capital provided debt financing, and legal advice came from Vorys and Cohen & Co.
