Anthropic has significantly upgraded its Claude voice mode, now compatible with its more powerful Opus and Sonnet models. Previously, voice mode was limited to the Haiku model, prioritizing speed over depth. This expansion allows paying users to leverage the full text-based intelligence of Claude through voice interactions.

Users can now switch between Opus, Sonnet, and Haiku models within voice mode, enhancing flexibility. The upgraded voice mode also integrates with connectors, enabling Claude to interact with other tools. This feature supports 11 languages, with the ability to switch languages mid-conversation.

The enhanced Claude voice mode is accessible across Anthropic’s mobile, desktop, and web applications, bringing voice capabilities in line with its advanced text functionalities.
