Tiger Woods will compete in the TGL season finale Tuesday, marking his first competitive golf appearance in over a year. The 50-year-old 15-time major winner has been sidelined since October 2025 after back surgery to replace a disk. His return comes at a critical moment for Jupiter Links Golf Club, which advanced to the TGL final.

Woods last played competitive golf in February 2025 during the TGL season opener. His previous PGA Tour appearance was 20 months ago, highlighting the severity of his ongoing back issues that have required multiple operations in recent years. Throughout the 2026 TGL season, he served as a non-playing vice captain for his team.

Jupiter Links defeated Rory McIlroy's Boston Common in the semifinals to reach the best-of-three final. Woods will replace Kevin Kisner in Tuesday's decisive match against Los Angeles Golf Club, which features Justin Rose and Tommy Fleetwood. The Los Angeles team won the opening match, setting up a winner-take-all finale for the inaugural TGL championship.
