Luke Littler beat rival Luke Humphries 8-6 to win the Czech Darts Open in Prague on his return to the European Tour. Littler had not played a European Tour event since March, but hit five 180s and averaged over 95 in the final at the PVA EXPO. Humphries, aiming for a third straight title, reached the final after defeating Gerwyn Price, William O'Connor and Andrew Gilding on Sunday. Littler overcame Michael van Gerwen in the semi-finals, Danny Noppert in the quarters and Krzysztof Ratajski in the last 16. The World No 1 won the first two legs before Humphries took three straight, but a 130 checkout in the ninth leg helped Littler move ahead. Humphries nearly forced a decider, wiring two darts at D16, but Littler recovered to win at D10. The victory nets Littler £35,000 and a spot at the European Championship in Dortmund in October. "It's good to be back and I'm back with a bang," said Littler, who now eyes a clean sweep of major trophies in 2026.

"I'm not sure now I've won this one," Littler added. "I think I've secured my place in Dortmund. That's obviously the one I'm chasing."

Humphries, gracious in defeat, said: "I can't be upset. The two darts I threw at D16 were right on the wire and if that goes in, it could have been a different game. I've got to dedicate my life a bit more to get better and keep pushing him."
