Arsenal have agreed a club-record £55.7m fee with Al Hilal to sell Gabriel Martinelli, with the player granted permission for a medical and set to become the club’s biggest ever sale, surpassing the £40m received for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in 2017. Gabriel Jesus is also set to depart after Arsenal agreed an £8.6m deal in principle with Barcelona, with plans for him to travel to Spain as soon as Monday. Jesus joined Arsenal from Manchester City in a £45m deal four years ago, scoring 32 goals in 123 appearances, but managed just three Premier League starts last season after missing most of the year due to a knee injury sustained in a January 2025 FA Cup tie against Manchester United.

He has 64 international appearances for Brazil but has not played for the Selecao since November 2023. Arsenal have also agreed to sell Fabio Vieira to Hamburg for around £7.7m, meaning the club could bring in approximately £72m from the three sales, having already made £45m in sales this window. Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick said the club is 'on a good path' regarding recruitment, praising sporting director Deco’s work.
