Kimi Antonelli clinched his sixth Formula 1 pole position of the year at the Belgian Grand Prix, beating Max Verstappen by 0.317s with a 1m44.361s lap. The Italian continued Mercedes' lock-out of pole positions despite having to chase Verstappen's second lap, as the Dutchman used a tow from Isack Hadjar to briefly lead.

Lando Norris set the quickest first run but bailed on his final lap after running across gravel at Turn 13. Norris takes a 10-place grid penalty and will start 12th, promoting George Russell to third alongside Charles Leclerc on the second row. Lewis Hamilton qualified sixth and moves up to fifth alongside Oscar Piastri.

Arvid Lindblad impressed in seventh for Racing Bulls alongside Gabriel Bortoleto, while Hadjar starts from the back row. Liam Lawson missed Q3 by four-hundredths, and both Alpines qualified 12th-13th. Carlos Sainz and Ollie Bearman were separated by just 0.002s in Q2 elimination.
