Madrid-based Singular Bank deployed an internal AI assistant called Singularity, built on ChatGPT and Codex, that helps private bankers analyze client portfolios in real time, prepare for meetings, and generate compliant follow-up communications. The tool integrates directly with the bank's core systems to ensure regulatory traceability.

Before Singularity, portfolio analysis required bankers to pull positions from multiple systems, reconcile data manually, and assemble a coherent view before each client meeting—a process that consumed significant preparation time. Now the system immediately flags concentration risk, elevated exposure, or portfolio imbalance, and recommends specific actions like reducing positions, locking in gains, or rebalancing toward stability.

Bankers are saving 60 to 90 minutes per day across the team. Meeting preparation dropped from 20 minutes to under one minute; call reports from 15-20 minutes to under 30 seconds. In a recent 30-day period, bankers executed over 3,500 operations across 19 different workflows. Because outputs are generated from approved data sources, communications remain consistent and regulatory reporting improved.

"The future of private banking is not built on products alone, but on applied intelligence," said Javier Marín, CEO of Singular Bank. The system doesn't replace bankers—it enhances their judgment by handling operational tasks so they can focus on advising clients and building relationships. In private banking where every interaction matters, faster and better-informed advice creates a meaningful advantage.
