Codex-only seats operate on token consumption billing with no rate limits, providing clearer cost tracking across budgets and teams. Meanwhile, ChatGPT Business seats that include Codex access are now more affordable, dropping from $25 to $20 per seat annually. To encourage adoption, eligible workspaces can receive $100 in credits per new Codex-only team member, up to $500 total.

Over 2 million builders now use Codex weekly, with usage growing 6x since January among ChatGPT Business and Enterprise users.
