Ukrainian drones have hit several Wildberries warehouses in days, targeting Russia's biggest online retailer. Four warehouses struck, including Nevinnomyssk. Kyiv says it targets logistics hubs supplying military equipment, but attacks frustrate hundreds of Russian sellers dependent on marketplaces.

First attacks killed seven workers in Kotovsk and one in Elektrostal, destroying goods worth £750m ($1bn). President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine is "bringing the war back home." Wildberries owner Tatiana Kim reported further casualties. The platform and rival Ozon serve 85-90% of Russia's economically active population.

Sellers face heavy losses; one lost 1m roubles (£9,500). Contracts now list drone attacks as force majeure, limiting compensation. Kim promised support but fears persist. Small businesses already strained by VAT hike to 22%, tax breaks scrapped, and 209,000 closures in Q1 2026.
