Gray's presentation, titled 'Using the railway network as a flatbed scanner,' details the technical challenges involved. These include accurately measuring the train's speed and ensuring the camera collects data fast enough to avoid image distortion. The process also presents significant hurdles in processing and displaying the resulting panoramic images.
