After helping organize over 1,200 events, the team rebuilt their core system around agent architecture. The original product was a traditional marketplace, but they pivoted to treat event planning as a stateful coordination problem rather than a one-shot search query. The agent orchestrates specialized tools while maintaining planning context across conversations.

The platform addresses a common pain point: planning company retreats typically means hiring expensive event planners, spending dozens of hours on research, or using tools like Airbnb that aren't designed for group logistics. TeamOut's solution combines models like Gemini, Claude, and GPT with vector embeddings for venue recommendations across 10,000+ locations.
