The model, using 2030 cost assumptions, shows most regions can achieve this, though high-latitude areas face higher costs due to winter sunshine limitations. Adding wind or hydro significantly helps reduce expenses in these colder regions.

The analysis projects that by 2050, 86% of the population could achieve 90% solar-battery supply below 60 €/MWh, and 93% below 80 €/MWh for 95% coverage, highlighting the technology's long-term cost trajectory.
