RMUX is a Rust-built terminal multiplexer offering both tmux-compatible CLI and a typed async SDK. Developer Helvesec created it after growing frustrated with tmux's limitations for automation, replacing grep scraping with structured terminal control.

The project supports Linux, macOS, and Windows through ConPTY without requiring WSL. With v0.2.0 now available, it implements all 90 tmux commands while adding programmable features like stable pane IDs and structured snapshots.
