The project indexes reactor history and projections by country, addressing a fragmented information ecosystem where operational and commercial data is hard to reconcile. It also monitors nuclear news, political declarations, and geophysical events like earthquakes that could impact operations.

The creator previously worked for three years at CNEA in HPC software for nuclear simulations and co-founded ratherlabs.com, a blockchain solutions company that reached ~$6 million in annual revenue in 2024. As demand decreased due to AI-driven MVP launches by clients, the entrepreneur returned to the energy sector, leveraging nuclear's renaissance following the post-Fukushima dark age.

Reactor Atlas uses an operational and news layer plus a subscription-based intelligence layer to help institutions make faster decisions with specific alerts. The platform was built with Claude Fable 5.1, deployed on Vercel using Next.js, Three.js, PostgreSQL, and cron jobs for data updates.

The creator, formerly coding in Fortran and C++ at CNEA and later architecting MERN stack systems, no longer writes code, focusing instead on designing robust AI agent systems. They believe humans should design and supervise AI systems rather than code manually.
