The hub allows users to filter over 4,000 plugins and themes by downloads, popularity, or release date, while authors can claim projects via GitHub and edit profiles. Every submission now triggers automated reviews that scan for code quality, security, and policy compliance.

Automated scans flag vulnerabilities and produce scorecards visible to users and developers, and teams can manage allowed plugins through upcoming controls. The move addresses the backlog that grew as plugin creation accelerated, with over 2,300 queued submissions processed in days.

By marrying a searchable directory with continuous automated vetting, Obsidian strengthens its ecosystem and offers developers a clearer path to publication while giving users higher confidence in safety.
