Intel has expanded XeSS 3 support beyond initial Core Ultra Series 3 chips to include Intel Arc B-Series discrete GPUs, Arc A-Series GPUs, and processors from the Core Ultra 2 family. This driver update, version 32.0.101.8509, brings the upscaling and multi-frame generation technology to a much broader range of recent Intel graphics hardware.

XeSS 3 combines spatial upscaling with multi-frame generation to boost gaming performance. By extending support to the Battlemage (B-series), Alchemist (A-series), and newer integrated graphics from Lunar Lake and Arrow Lake, Intel significantly increases the potential user base for this feature, directly competing with similar frame interpolation technologies from rivals.

The WHQL-certified driver is available for Windows 10 and 11. Intel cautions that this generic driver may overwrite OEM-specific customizations, so users should verify compatibility. For anyone with an Arc A or B GPU or a Core Ultra 2 processor, this update unlocks XeSS 3 in supported games immediately.
