Hyper Launches Company Brain for Agentic AI Development

Hyper founders Shalin and Kanyes unveiled their YC P26 company brain platform designed to give AI agents persistent organizational knowledge. The tool addresses a critical gap: while language models can handle complex tasks, they lack continuous access to scattered company information across Slack, Docs, emails, and calendar events.

Hyper ingests data from multiple sources and builds a hybrid knowledge graph with two components: Episodes store raw source items as truth, while Facts extract meaning as subject-predicate-object triples with timestamps. When contradictory information emerges—like shifting ship dates—the system marks facts as superseded rather than discarding them, preserving decision history for future reference.

The platform integrates through lifecycle hooks in Claude Code, Cowork, Codex, and Cursor, automatically injecting relevant context into agent prompts. Early users report significant efficiency gains: a CEO drafts emails in minutes instead of hours, while a YC founder generated a complete launch video script because Hyper already understood their product voice and positioning.

Hyper offers a 3-day free trial with access to Docs, Slack, Email, and Calendar integrations. The system uses reciprocal rank fusion to combine semantic search with full-text search while enforcing access controls, ensuring team members receive contextually appropriate responses based on their permissions.
