A new slang term, 'That's AI,' is being used by Generation Alpha as a catch-all insult for anything deemed inauthentic, unbelievable, or of dubious value. The phrase, popularized in primary schools, has little to do with actual artificial intelligence and instead equates the technology with 'bullshit.' Young people have broadened the definition of AI to describe superficially convincing but ultimately cheap things, such as knock-off merchandise, exaggerated claims, or parental excuses. While adults debate AI's potential as a savior or threat, the younger generation has already decided that AI is 'so AI.' The term is now being applied to various aspects of modern life, from tech stocks and driverless taxis to marketing jobs and even political figures like Donald Trump.
