Jacob Tsimerman receives the award for recasting o-minimality as a fundamental method in arithmetic and complex algebraic geometry, playing a key role in proving major conjectures like Griffiths' conjecture. Hong Wang is honored for her advancements in harmonic analysis and geometric measure theory, including the application of multiscale techniques to the local smoothing conjecture and progress in Fourier restriction and Falconer distance sets.
