agent-talk is a plugin designed to enable coding agents, such as Claude Code, to communicate and coordinate tasks with each other. Previously, developers acted as manual intermediaries, copying instructions between agent sessions. agent-talk automates this by allowing agents to message one another, facilitating collaboration on complex projects.

Built on the retalk CLI, agent-talk requires Claude Code with plugin support and a retalk relay URL. Users can opt for a public relay or set up their own. The plugin offers a quickstart guide for installation and usage, including enabling "Auto Mode" in Claude Code for seamless autonomous operation. Instructions for updating the plugin are also provided.

agent-talk is compatible with other platforms like Codex, Antigravity, pi, and opencode, offering similar functionalities and installation methods. While some platforms like Codex and Antigravity have limitations regarding auto-receiving messages, others like pi and opencode support this feature, ensuring a more integrated agent collaboration experience.
