iOS 27 beta code reveals a new two-page Quick Look layout for the iPhone Duo, mimicking a book’s open-page view. The change activates when the device is folded slightly, showing a double-page spread similar to Apple Books. Leaker pdfu shared screenshots and noted the update follows a recent minimalist Focus Mode redesign.
Quick Look on the Duo will now display documents as facing pages, enhancing readability. The feature mirrors the existing spread mode in Apple Books and aligns with the Mac’s space-bar preview. Users can still access Quick Look via the Files app by pressing and holding a document, then selecting Quick Look.
Apple opened iPhone Duo configurations and financing on October 12, 2026, with pre-orders starting October 16 and shipments by October 23.
