Stoke staged a stunning comeback to defeat Sheffield United 2-1 at the bet365 Stadium. Jack Mc Glynn and super-sub Sam Gallagher scored in an 11-minute second-half burst to secure victory. Kalvin Phillips' first league goal in five-and-a-half years gave the Blades a 51st-minute lead from a long-range free-kick.

Mc Glynn levelled in the 78th minute with a left-footed strike, his second goal in as many games. Gallagher completed the fightback with a sublime 86th-minute volley worthy of any game. The win marked Stoke's fourth in their last five Sky Bet Championship fixtures.

Both teams created chances early, with Djibril Soumare and Lamine Cisse testing goalkeeper Michael Cooper before the break.
