Jets performed a dramatic low flyover ahead of the third Test between South Africa and New Zealand at FNB Stadium in Soweto, continuing one of Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry series. The Springboks levelled the series at 1-1 with a strong win in Cape Town last week, responding to the All Blacks both on and off the field after Rassie Erasmus issued a strong rebuttal to suggestions of illegal scrummaging.

The world champions looked to secure at least a drawn series with another victory in Johannesburg. Despite the All Blacks showing try-scoring capacity even while below their best seven days earlier, their backline remained threatening and capable of troubling a South African defence that had shown more chinks than usual in this series.

At 12-12 with the siren sounding, the All Blacks kicked to touch, resulting in a breathless finish. A penalty try was awarded to South Africa after Libbok's barnstorming run, with Love sent to the bin for ten minutes following a ruck infringement. The match restarted with McKenzie kicking for New Zealand.

Earlier, Ardie Savea scored a crucial try for the All Blacks after Carter broke through on the left, with the conversion missed. Arendse had crossed for South Africa in the 22nd minute following a brilliant six-phase move, though the conversion was narrowly wide.
