Team USA captain Angela Stanford insists Angel Yin will be fit for the Solheim Cup in the Netherlands. Yin hasn't completed a 72-hole tournament since May, missing the cut at the US Women's Open and withdrawing from the KPMG Women's PGA Championship due to an undisclosed stomach issue that caused her to lose around 2.5 stone. Despite this, she qualified second in the US points list.

Stanford confirmed Yin has played two practice rounds and will play, stating, "She's here and she has played two practice rounds... She will play, because that's in the spirit of this competition." The captain emphasized the team's unity, saying, "When you play in Europe, you have to be mentally tough and you have to be together as a team."

The United States are seeking their first victory on European soil since 2015 and their first back-to-back wins since 2017. Stanford expressed confidence in her squad, noting they are "all on the same page" and that the team is "not peaking yet" but "in a good space."
