Sky has agreed a three-year extension to its US Open deal, ensuring Sky Sports and NOW remains the exclusive home of the tournament in the UK and Ireland until the end of 2030.

As part of the partnership with the United States Tennis Association (USTA), Sky Sports will retain exclusive live coverage of all men's and women's singles, doubles, mixed doubles, juniors and wheelchair competitions throughout the three-week tournament. The agreement was negotiated by the USTA's media rights partner, IMG.

Alongside broadcast rights, fans in the UK and Ireland will also be able to catch up on all the action with clips and highlights available across Sky's digital and social platforms. This year's coverage has featured augmented reality graphics, enhanced data integrations, in-depth touchscreen analysis and behind-the-scenes content.

Sky's tennis coverage is led by presenter Gigi Salmon and includes expert analysis from Tim Henman and Laura Robson, alongside additional talent and co-commentators at events throughout the season. Match commentary is provided by Jonathan Overend.

The announcement comes amid a drama-filled US Open featuring the shock first-round exit of 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic and the latest finish in tournament history between Ben Shelton and Carlos Alcaraz as the American emerged victorious at 3.33am. A thrilling women's final awaits as World No 1 Aryna Sabalenka takes on World No 2 Elena Rybakina on Saturday.
