Cornell Capital has acquired Hancock Claims Consultants, an Alpharetta, Georgia-based outsourced claims field services provider to residential property and casualty insurers, for undisclosed terms. Founded in 2003, Hancock operates across 48 states with more than 1,000 field technicians, serving large homeowners carriers with exterior and interior inspections, contents valuation, and estimating. Its Hancock Repair Network handles managed repair, water mitigation, tree removal, and engineering services.

The investment will support Hancock's technology platform, new adjacent service lines, and further add-on acquisitions in claims services. Cornell Capital highlighted the deal as aligned with its strategy of investing in category leaders within financial services, leveraging its experience across the insurance ecosystem and tech-enabled outsourced services.

"Hancock has earned a reputation among the nation's leading carriers as a trusted, best-in-class partner, built on the strength of its people, its national technician network, and its consistent quality of service," said Taylor Watt, managing director at Cornell Capital.

Piper Sandler and Baird served as financial advisers to Hancock, with Kirkland & Ellis as legal counsel. William Blair advised Cornell Capital financially, while Davis Polk & Wardwell served as legal counsel. Cornell Capital manages approximately $5 billion in assets under management.
