Alleged photos and a hands-on video of the vivo X500 Pro Max reveal an enormous camera island spanning the phone's width, featuring a rotating ring with inscribed numbers possibly for ISO control. The image compares the X500 Pro Max (right) alongside the vivo X300 Ultra (left), highlighting the dramatic size increase. A TikTok video from @technical.oficiall shows the protruding ring mechanism in detail.

The Pro Max will reportedly feature a triple camera system with two 50MP sensors and a 200MP module. The main camera uses a 50MP 1/1.28-inch Sony LOFIC sensor, while the telephoto employs a 200MP 1/1.4 Samsung HP0 sensor (previously used in the X300 Ultra). The ultra-wide camera will use a 50MP Sony IMX8-series sensor.

Confirmed specs include a 6.85" LTPO display with 144Hz refresh rate — the world's first BOE Q11 panel — powered by an upcoming Dimensity 9600 chip. The X500 series (X500, X500 Pro, X500 Pro Max) launches in September, with an Ultra model arriving later. Global availability remains uncertain; the Pro Max may launch globally but the Ultra might skip international markets this year.
