OnePlus has officially announced the launch date for its upcoming flagship, the OnePlus 16, in China. The device is set to debut on October 12 during the 2026 OnePlus Gaming Conference. The event will highlight the phone’s gaming-focused features, including a high-refresh-rate display and performance optimizations.

The OnePlus 16 is confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset and will support a 185Hz refresh rate display with native 185fps gaming in select titles like Arena Breakout, Nizhan: Future, Naruto Mobile, and Peace Elite. It will also feature a system-wide 165Hz refresh rate, a custom display chip, a dedicated touch response chip, and a connectivity chip. Camera specs include a 200MP primary rear sensor and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens.

The phone will be available in three color options at launch.
