The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 are now official, and major Android manufacturers have confirmed devices with the new chips. Xiaomi leads with its 18 series. The 18 Pro will use the standard 8 Elite Gen 6, while the 18 Pro Max will feature the Extreme version. Both launch today in China.

Honor will equip its Magic9 Pro Max with the top-tier 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, launching on September 28. The i QOO 16 and Pad Ultra will also use the Extreme chip, set to debut on September 29. vivo confirmed future phones will carry the flagship chip as well.

Red Magic 12Pro+ and One Plus 16 are also adopting the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme. Motorola's Signature 27, launching later this year, will use the Extreme variant as well.
