Cricut, maker of cutting, embossing and heat pressing machines, is going all in on stickers with its new Sticker Pix Print and Print + Cut machines. The Sticker Pix Print is the smaller model at 7.8 x 5 x 3.5 inches, printing on 4 x 6-inch photo paper or pre-cut sticker sheets. The Print + Cut is larger (8 x 11.3 x 4.1 inches) and can handle 4 x 7-inch sticker sheets and 4 x 6-inch photo paper, with the added ability to cut custom shapes.

Both machines use dye-sublimation, applying heat to transfer dye directly onto materials, then add a laminate layer for water, scratch and fade resistance. Unlike other Cricut machines that require a separate inkjet printer and laminate sheets, the Sticker Pix models combine printing and cutting in one device, saving space for hobbyists focused on photos and stickers.

However, these machines only produce kiss-cut stickers (still attached to a single sheet), not die-cut stickers that separate from backing paper. They also require the Cricut Design Space software, which may push users toward a Cricut Access subscription for more templates and discounts.

The Cricut Sticker Pix Print and Print + Cut are available now, starting at $169 and $299, respectively. Both bundle sticker sheets, photo paper and an ink cartridge.
