Apple's September event has unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, continuing the design language of the previous generation but introducing fresh colors and a significant internal overhaul. The new models are powered by the A20 Pro chip, built on a 2-nanometer process, offering a 20% faster CPU and a 7-core GPU that is 40% quicker than its predecessor. The Neural Engine now has 32 cores, doubling the count, and memory bandwidth has increased by 50%.

Apple has also improved thermal management with a new vapor chamber that is three times larger. The camera system sees a notable upgrade with a variable aperture on the 48MP Main Fusion camera, allowing photographers to control depth of field and bokeh more precisely. Additionally, the new N1 wireless chip supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6, while the C2 modem promises faster uploads with 15% less energy consumption.

The devices are available in Black, Silver, Glacier, and Burgundy, maintaining the familiar plateau-style camera bar design.
