Asian and European blue-chip equities declined as global bond yields traded at multiyear highs amid investor conviction that the U.S. Federal Reserve will raise rates. Central banks in Japan and the eurozone are also expected to raise rates in the coming weeks. The dollar rose on higher rate prospects, while Bitcoin fell to around $78,540.

Gold slipped below $4,500 an ounce as higher rate expectations hurt non-yielding assets. Brent crude futures hovered near $92 a barrel following renewed U.S.-Iran escalations. U.S. stock futures edged lower, with focus on fixed-income markets. Chip stocks weakened as Nasdaq futures fell 0.6%.

Dow Jones and S&P 500 futures slipped about 0.3%. In Hong Kong, Shein shares dropped up to 10% in its trading debut. A G20 summit in Asheville, North Carolina, brings global finance ministers together over two days.

Investors will watch for speeches on sticky inflation and higher borrowing costs. In the U.S., Palo Alto Networks and Dell will report earnings.
