The Reserve Bank of India plans to expand its retail foreign-exchange platform by adding five new currency pairs. According to Chief General Manager Dimple Bhandia, speaking at the Global Fintech Fest in Mumbai, the new pairs will include the euro, British pound, Swiss franc, Canadian dollar, and Emirati dirham. The initiative aims to give individuals easier access to a wider range of currencies.

This move follows previous expansions of the FX Retail platform designed to improve market accessibility for Indian traders.
