Rangers have rejected another bid from Besiktas for Belgium international Nico Raskin, following midfielder Thelo Aasgaard's £1m loan move to Anderlecht.

Raskin has been consistently linked with a move away from Glasgow after impressing during the World Cup. The 25-year-old returned to the Ibrox midfield in the win at Falkirk on Wednesday, taking the captain's armband late on. He had missed the past two matches amid transfer speculation, but manager Derek Mc Innes insisted he has been "good as gold."

"I'm just glad I'm able to choose him tonight," Mc Innes said. "We can do with his experience in there. I thought he got better in the second half. Obviously delighted if we manage to hold on to him and it looks like we will."

With the window closing on Thursday at 17:00 BST, Mc Innes says he will be relieved when it is shut. "It seems to have been the longest window I can remember - so much going on," he said. "For us now, it will do everybody good if we can get the window shut and work with what we've got."
