Redragon, known for creating affordable gaming peripherals, has just announced the Impactsphere GS818 desktop speakers as its latest desktop accessory. The 60 W desktop speakers offer a different aesthetic to the usual Redragon gamer affair, with bamboo wood front panels and a fabric finish on the speaker housings themselves. The top of the right speaker has built-in volume and power buttons to make controlling the speaker easier, especially when using the wireless connection.

The Impactsphere speakers each feature a 1-inch silk dome tweeter and a 3-inch aluminium cone mid-low driver, and each speaker is rated to a claimed 30 W with a frequency response of 45 Hz-20 k Hz. The GS818 offers both Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connectivity as well as 3.5 mm audio in and USB type-C that goes through a built-in sound card. There is also an audio output available for connecting to a subwoofer.

The speakers are currently available on Redragon's official store for $79.99. They are also entirely plug-and-play—Redragon doesn't even offer a software download for them—and they measure in at 100 × 156.7 × 174 mm, making them relatively compact.
